After breaking down the door with an axe, he was ready to shoot Belle. But she managed to stab Tom in the back with an axe before fleeing. She later confided in Lydia (Karen Blick), Sam (James Hooton) and Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) about what had happened, and the family devised a plan to hide the body. But now, actress Eden, who plays Belle, seems to have confirmed that Tom’s reign of terror could soon be over. On Monday (September 30), Eden appeared on ITV’s This Morning. When pressed by co-host Ben Shephard on whether Tom is bound for a downfall, Eden answered enigmatically: “I hope so.” The actress, who has played Belle since 2005, elaborated on the gripping storyline, stating: “And I think to do the story right, and to show that justice can be done.”

She continued, revealing the dedication behind the scenes: “But the passion for getting it right, is what drives us, and we are so passionate about it. And it’s the most rewarding storyline.” Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pmStory SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
