The 56 year old, who is known for playing Sharon Watts in the BBC soap, showcased her remarkable weight loss in a slinky black dress. She finished off the outfit with a pair of black tights, black heels and some orange-tinted glasses. The star posed for pictures with fans before walking the red carpet with her co-stars Gillian Taylforth, Diane Parish, Kellie Bright, Balvinder Sopal and Lacey Turner. On the night, EastEnders picked up the Best Showstopper Award for their Christmas Day murder mystery instalment of “The Six” – the gripping storyline that followed the murder of Keanu Taylor.

It comes after Letitia was seen cutting a slimmed down figure as she filmed Christmas Day scenes last month. Shooting for an upcoming on-screen wedding that will air later this year, she wore a fitted black dress and stiletto heels. Taking to social media, fans were quick to notice her new look, with one writing: “I’m so intrigued, I need Sharon’s (EastEnders) weight loss secret. She looks amazing!” Another said: “Need to go on the Letitia Dean diet. She looks amazing,” whilst a third added: “Letitia Dean has lost so much weight she looks amazing. Massive well done to her.” Letitia previously opened up about her incredible weight loss journey, admitting she shed four dress sizes in just four months. She went from weighing 10st 4lbs to 8st 3lbs after ditching fad diets and junk food. “It was incredible. I found I had so much more energy than when I used to eat junk food,” Letitia told Closer, adding that she loves eating “grilled skinless chicken” and “lots of greens”. She continued: “The main reason I wanted to do something about my figure was that I was so sick of extreme dieting and my weight yo-yoing. I just woke up one morning, and I’d had enough. For years and years – as long as I can remember – my weight had yo-yoed up and down. I’d go on fad diets like Atkins or I’d only eat eggs.” In July 2020, Letitia revealed she was targeted by cruel trolls over her appearance.
