Privacy NoticeEastEnders has launched into Keanu Taylor’s murder trial, with Dean Wicks (portrayed by Matt Di Angelo) potentially facing jail time for a chilling crime he didn’t commit. However, some fans have been left side tracked by one detail, as they claim the soap ‘is getting good again.’ As regular viewers of the BBC soap will recall, Keanu (Danny Walters) assaulted Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) on Christmas Day and threatened to abscond with her young son Albie. Keanu attempted to strangle Sharon in The Queen Vic before being halted by Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), who stabbed him in the back. The Six, comprising Linda, Sharon, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), Denise Fox (Diane Parish), and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) all pinned the murder on Dean.

However, Dean, who had previously assaulted Linda, is yet to be declared guilty as his trial commenced during Monday’s episode (September 2), with The Six making an appearance and providing witness statements. Stacey was the first to take the stand and managed to withstand her cross-examination – sticking to the narrative and not buckling under pressure. But Sharon was next and bore the brunt of Dean’s ruthless lawyer. She tried to express her affection for her ex-partner Keanu but was labelled a liar before her statement was torn apart. However, things took a turn for the worse when the paternity of Albie Watts was also brought up, leaving Sharon seething.

EastEnders fans were on the edge of their seats as Sharon Watts faced a fierce courtroom showdown, but it was the wardrobe choices that really had tongues wagging, as The Six were all wearing their colours from the day of Keanu’s demise to court. For the trial, Linda chose a pink ensemble, while Sharon opted for white, echoing her bridal look. Suki sported a Royal blue jacket, Kathy donned a purple outfit, Denise dazzled in green, and Stacey stood out in a striking red blouse. Viewers flocked to social media to comment on this sartorial nod, with one fan tweeting: “Love that #TheSix are wearing their colours from Xmas night to the trial. Nice little touch there @bbceastenders #EastEnders.”

Another fan expressed their delight: “Not The Six wearing their iconic colours to court. I love these little details. #EastEnders,” as a third said: “NO, THE WAY THEY’RE ALL WEARING THEIR 6 COLOURS ooo EastEnders is getting good again!” One viewer was totally here for the fashion statement, tweeting: “The Six women wearing their Christmas colours to court is such a serve #eastenders”. Another fan showed their love for the coordinated look, posting: “I love how The Six are wearing their colours for court today. #EastEnders”. Sharon’s past came back to haunt her in the episode, as she was labelled promiscuous for her string of marriages, including to brothers Phil and Grant Mitchell. Tensions soared in the courtroom with Kathy, Stacey, Suki, and Denise looking on anxiously, especially with Phil present. Sharon’s defiance landed her in hot water, leading to a contempt of court charge and a dramatic escort out by the police. Outside, Linda Carter grappled with her emotions, ultimately fleeing from the intensity of the trial.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
