Privacy NoticeEastEnders fans are buzzing with theories that Fraser might be teaming up with Aunt Babe for a dark revenge plot against Linda Carter. Earlier this week, Fraser popped into The Queen Vic, introducing himself as an associate of Dean Wicks, who’s currently behind bars for the murder of Keanu Taylor. In a chilling twist for The Six, Fraser offered Linda a deal – withdraw her witness statement and he’d confess to raping her. Despite Johnny Carter’s desperate pleas for his mum not to take Dean’s offer, warning it could reopen the murder case, Linda was firm in her decision to permanently remove Dean from her life and start afresh. Johnny also warned Linda about Dean’s untrustworthiness, but she remained steadfast. Linda defended her decision to Johnny, and despite his warnings that Dean might not keep his word, she held her ground.

He also hinted that Sharon could be implicated for murder, but Linda told Johnny that Jack Branning had assured they could still prosecute Dean based on other evidence, according to the Daily Star, reports the Express. Johnny called an urgent meeting with Denise, Sharon and Jack to discuss Linda’s plans to retract her statement, causing widespread panic.

Meanwhile, Linda met with Fraser at Peggy’s to agree to the deal and asked for the details to be put in writing. However, when she went to the bar to get Fraser a drink, he made a phone call confirming that the deal was done. “Yeah it’s me, all done”, he told the mystery person on the phone, gleefully adding, “Please, she’s eating out the palm of my hand. I’ll see you later then”, and hung up the call. But the plot twisted swiftly when Jack stepped in and arrested Fraser for blackmail and justice tampering, thanks to Johnny tipping him off about Linda’s manoeuvres.

Feeling betrayed by her own son meddling with her life, Linda was seething with anger and announced that she didn’t need his help. Later, as she was wrapping up at The Vic, Linda stumbled upon an envelope on the bar with her name on it. Inside was a chilling message: “I know what you did at Christmas. Liar!”, sparking the question, who’s onto her now? Gossip among EastEnders fans is swirling that Aunt Babe, known for being Shirley Carter’s sly estranged aunt, booted from The Vic six years ago after clashing with Mick and Linda, might be behind this scheming vendetta. A fan speculated online: “The font of that writing is just sooo Aunt Babe, but it makes ZERO sense for her to be Linda’s blackmailer.”

The suspicion continues with one tweeting, “#EastEnders. Linda receiving a threatening letter – but who is behind it? I think it’s Shirley or Aunt Babe?”, and another hinting, “Dean reconnecting with Aunt Babe to exact her revenge would be one hell of a twist NGL #EastEnders.” Another fan confidently posted, “Personally think Aunt Babe is related to the Linda blackmail #EastEnders”. While someone else pondered, “Why do I feel like it’s Aunt Babe blackmailing Linda? “.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
