We don’t know about you, but we always get a little thrill when Easter chocolates start to appear on supermarket shelves, even if it always does seem a bit early every year. And if you’re a fan of Cadbury’s Creme Eggs like us, this bargain bundle is one of the most cost-effective ways to stock up. We’ve discovered a massive box of 48 Creme Eggs for sale on Amazon’s Cadbury store, currently marked down from £36 to £28.99. That’s only around 60p per egg – cheaper than most supermarkets (they’re currently 85p at Sainsbury’s and £1 at Waitrose). This makes it a fantastic way to save money on this seasonal treat, whether you’re planning Easter egg hunts or just enjoy eating them all year round. This bulk buy of Creme Eggs has also been a big hit with Amazon customers, racking up an impressive 18,000 five-star reviews. Shoppers have praised the value for money and the quality of the packaging. “Amazing value – truly. I think I bought this one sale which made this soooooo affordable. Sooo much chocolate and for such a good price too,” one person wrote. “These came just as you would see in the shops and taste perfect. Came in good condition and lasted us for a while. Great purchase for those that love Creme Eggs,” another agreed, reports the Mirror. Many shoppers have also praised the bundle for its usefulness in Easter egg hunts, with one review stating: ‘What a great way to expand our grandchildren’s Easter egg hunt. Well packaged. All wrapped perfectly. The children loved it. Just a few left over for the adults too. Brought at a great price too, for 48.’ However, not all feedback was 100% positive, with one customer noting that Creme Eggs aren’t as big or tasty as they remember: “Bought for kids easter party. Eggs a lot smaller than they used to be and flavour is nothing like they once were,” they wrote on Amazon.
