On an episode of The Number with Darren Kennedy podcast, recorded before her heated exchange with fellow panellist Stacey Solomon on the show over work-from-home policies, Denise shared insights into how her role on the daytime talk show has influenced her public persona and subsequent career choices. The star acknowledged that her time on Loose Women has showcased her authentic self but hasn’t come without implications for her acting profession. She remarked that, regardless, the exposure has led to “other opportunities,” as per The Express.

Denise said: “I think resilience is a good word for me, yeah. Yeah, I think so. I think it’s always been about, as you get older in this business now, is about remaining relevant, you know. “And doing Loose Women has been wonderful for me. Does it affect your acting career? Yes, it does. You know, if you become known as somebody who’s very opinionated.” Expanding on her experiences, Denise admitted: “And also because of Loose Women, my partying and everything kind of played out a lot in front of people and what’s it. So it did have a knock-on effect on my acting career. “But then again, it’s given me other opportunities that my acting career wouldn’t have given me. You know, forays into reality television, some bad, some good.”

It comes after Denise vehemently dismissed rumours of an ongoing feud with her co-star Stacey Solomon, following their heated on-air debate on remote working. As viewers witnessed the clash of opinions, speculation arose that Denise and Stacey wouldn’t appear together on the show again soon, fuelled by reports that Stacey had “refused” to work with Denise. But Denise debunked these reports in an interview on an American podcast, stating: “We had a discussion on a discussion show, where you’re supposed to discuss things and maybe disagree.” She also added: “We’re encouraged to disagree about things, it’s a talk show!” Previously, Denise had a run-in with fellow panelist Coleen Nolan in a heated moment during a May episode that revolved around Meghan Markle and the Royals. As Royal expert Dickie Arbiter chimed into the discussion about a possible Royal reunion, Coleen attempted to keep the peace, saying: “Listen… we don’t want [Dickie] on here to have a debate really. We want to know how Charles is doing now and, the future for Charles. It’s not a debate.” Denise, never one to hold back, retorted fiercely, “Well don’t have a guest on,” Quick to defend herself, she snapped back at Coleen’s attempt to manage the conversation: “I can say what I like, Coleen!” “I’m not saying you can’t,” Coleen responded.
