Privacy NoticeDavina McCall dropped a juicy love teaser on The One Show, revealing: “I’ve got a potential marriage going.” Chatting about her latest ITV reality series My Mum, Your Dad, the conversation with hosts Alex Jones and Roman Kemp soon swerved into Davina’s newfound knack for playing cupid. The TV favourite was in good company, joined by Corrie’s Will Mellor and actress Kara Tointon. When quizzed about his own matchmaking abilities, Will confessed: “I’d be useless. I can’t trust myself to match people. I’d be too worried if I was wrong they’d come back and say, ‘You put me with her!'” But it was Davina who had everyone buzzing when she added: “I think I’ve got a potential marriage going.” A surprised Alex Jones exclaimed: “Really?” before being interrupted by Roman, who quickly tried to steer clear of any show spoilers, reports the Mirror.

However, Davina clarified that this love match is “separate from the show”. With Alex’s curiosity piqued, insisting: “Hang on, we can’t leave it there now!” Davina promised to spill the beans later. Kara chimed in, pondering whether Davina’s role on the show had honed her love guru skills, to which Davina admitted: “I’ve got no idea, but I’m excited!” Roman managed to wrap up the segment, reminding viewers: “My Mum, Your Dad starts on the 16th of September, 9 o’clock, on ITV1 and ITVX and if you want to hear any marriage advice from Davina, I’m sure you can [get that]!” Davina McCall has quite the love story, with two marriages under her belt first to Andrew Leggett between 1997 and 1999, and then to Matthew Robertson from 2000 until their split in 2017. Since finding love again with Michael Douglas in 2019, whom she met during her Big Brother presenting days where he was the hairstylist on set, the pair have been smitten.

A familiar face, Michael has graced our screens on programmes like This Morning and The One Show. In a big relationship milestone, January 2023 saw them move in together, although they’re not yet engaged or married. Sharing about their domestic bliss, Davina said: “I am quite enjoying being a new couple doing new things, because we are newly living together. It’s quite nice making new traditions because we did that before Christmas, we sat down together and talked about it: ‘Okay, blank space, what shall we make tradition from now on?'” In addition to her romantic endeavours, Davina is a proud mum to Holly, Tilly, and Chester, whom she shares with her ex-husband Matthew.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
