Georgia Horsley, wife to Danny Jones, has reportedly left their family abode following the McFly star’s heartfelt apology about his kiss with Maura Higgins. The move comes as a second blow to Georgia as not long ago, she tackled renovations and moved into their new home by herself, which left her ‘broken’. Danny, 39, was seen getting close to I’m A Celeb campmate and Love Island alum Maura, 34, at a BRIT Awards afterparty earlier this month. A video capturing a ‘drunken’ kiss between the two has left his wife feeling ‘humiliated’. The unexpected incident has shaken Danny and Georgia’s 11-year marriage. The couple, who are parents to seven year old Cooper, faced public scrutiny as the video made rounds online.

In response to the growing attention, Danny remained quiet until he went on Instagram to share an apology. He expressed his remorse and said: “I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately. I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support.” Following the statement, an insider revealed to the Mirror that despite still living ‘under the same roof’, Danny ‘wasn’t out of the woods yet’ as Georgia is ‘no pushover’ and was still figuring out her next steps. In a heartbreaking turn of events, it’s now reported that Georgia has left their family home and is staying with a friend in London. This is another setback for Georgia, who had a tough few weeks at the end of last year when she single-handedly looked after their son and managed the stressful task of moving house while Danny was busy with Bushtucker trials in the I’m A Celeb jungle. After Danny’s crowning as King of the Jungle, Georgia admitted they were on “different pages” – her husband was rejuvenated from his Australian adventure, while Georgia felt like “a broken woman”. On the Mum’s The Word podcast with Kelsey Parker last year, Georgia shared: “He’d gone through a real mindful experience. He came out to a wife who couldn’t have been further from that. The two worlds didn’t quite match with one another because I was so happy for him but then an exhausted, broken woman. I was on a very different page to him”.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Georgia shared another heartfelt confession of moving house while Danny was away. In an Instagram video, she admitted: “We have moved house whilst Danny is in the jungle, and I have done it on my own, and I am a broken woman, to say the least.” She continued by expressing her deep appreciation for those who lent her support and said: “I have had the help of the most incredible woman, Carly. If anyone is looking for a PA – she’s not mine, she’s Danny’s, I do not have one – she’s your woman. My friends, my mum, my dad have just been flipping incredible. I have got a village, full-blown village.” Even though it was difficult, Georgia revealed that their son was the reason behind the big move: “I actually didn’t want to move from the house we lived in. I loved it there, but we do it for the kids, right? Anyway, I’m very, very emotional. I’ve had an emotional evening. It’s just a lot. But also let’s talk about the jungle, not just me and my house move without my jungle husband here,” she said, maintaining perspective amid the upheaval. This wasn’t the first time Georgia was honest about how she was feeling during her husband’s stint in the jungle. She also confessed on Instagram: “I’m a bit of an emotional one today.” She added: “I think it’s just been bubbling. Obviously, house move on its own is stressful and then working at the same time, solo parenting and having a husband in a jungle. So today’s it’s just kind of come to a head.”

She continued to champion her dedication to keeping it real, stating: “The last thing I want to do is not be my authentic self, which is what my Instagram is. I show real life, I show who I am, I show ups and downs and highs and lows so that you guys feel, you know, less alone with anything you might be struggling with. So I’m just having a bit of a wobble and I’m just a bit tired and just making sure I’m looking after everyone and keeping everybody happy.” Even Danny couldn’t help but marvel at Georgia’s strength during his time in the jungle as he reflected: “I left my wife to move house, so I’m surprised she’s still with me, to be honest, because she moved house all by herself.” Georgia faced a series of mishaps while Danny was away, including a removal truck accident just shy of their new home that damaged many of their belongings, including her husband’s treasured golf clubs. Unaware of the chaos due to the show’s no-contact rule, Danny only learned about the full extent of the situation upon his return and saw how “overwhelmed” Georgia was. On the Parenting Hell podcast, Danny shared: “When I got back, my wife was like, ‘I just think I need to go away to a hut [by] myself for a few days’.” He supported her need for a break and added: “I said, ‘Just go and take yourself away and have a few days [alone]’. You know what it’s like, she was overwhelmed. It got too much for her and I could see it in her. I was like, ‘You just need to go away’.”
