More infoJoin us on WhatsApp Georgia Jones is setting her sights on new horizons and diving into work commitments amidst her recent personal challenges. The other half of McFly’s Danny Jones, 39, has shared some thrilling updates as she takes time apart from her husband. The 38 year old mother, who shares son Cooper, aged seven, with Danny, seems to have put her foot down after Danny’s controversial kiss with his I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! campmate Maura Higgins, 34, at the BRITs this month. Post-scandal, Georgia reportedly moved out of their family home to mull over their relationship’s future. While taking a breather from her marriage, the ex-Miss England is gearing up to get back into the professional sphere and embrace fresh opportunities. Georgia, co-host of the Mum’s The Word podcast alongside Kelsey Parker, excitedly announced on Instagram on Wednesday evening that she’ll be gracing the stage at The Big Feastival in August.

Sharing a snap with her son and two girlfriends, Georgia shared with her Instagram fans: “From Besties and babies, to besties, to sister, to besties again, to now being part of the line up on an actual stage… with our real life podcast @mumstheword_pod!! August I cannot wait!! @thebigfeastival,”, reports the Mirror. Georgia, who’s lately been making waves with her podcast, has reportedly given her hubby, set to hit the road for the eagerly awaited Busted vs McFly tour, a serious talk about their future. A source spilled the beans to Closer magazine saying Georgia’s feeling on edge, especially after Danny’s recent BRITs bash blunder: “Georgia is understandably nervous after recent events. She’s worried about what happens when he’s out on the road – but she also knows there’s a chance they can fix things. She’s given Danny a clear ultimatum – it’s now or never – and he needs to prove he’s all in.” The insider added a ray of hope, explaining, “Danny doesn’t want to lose her and there’s still hope.” It’s been a rough patch for Danny who, over two weeks ago, was snapped in a dicey scenario with ex-Love Islander Maura at the BRITs afterparty in the capital. Taking time off to focus on family, Danny finally came forward with an apology to Georgia via his Instagram. He wrote: “Hello everyone, sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me. I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.”

Georgia has reportedly left the home they shared following rumours swirling around their marriage. She’s currently staying with a friend, taking some time to contemplate her next move. Sources close to Georgia have described the situation as “embarrassing” for her, acknowledging the strain on the couple since their 2014 wedding. “Danny and Georgia may still be married but they’re not together and she is working out what she wants to do,” an insider dished to The Sun. The source added: “She has been hugely hurt and embarrassed by everything and told Danny she needed to get away. She has been staying with her friend Rose since Wednesday.” Reports also note that despite the challenges, the pair are in discussions about healing their relationship post-scandal. They mentioned: “Georgia is still married to Danny and wearing her wedding rings – but they’re not together at the moment and are having time apart.” Danny, who shot to fame with his band McFly, has been married to ex-Miss England Georgia since 2014, sharing a son named Cooper. He recently made headlines winning the title of king of the jungle on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! where he triumphed over Coleen Rooney among other celebrities. During his stint on the show, he candidly discussed personal issues, including his strained relationship with his father, and often mentioned his family. Irish TV star Maura, famed for her appearance on ITV2’s Love Island, joined the show late alongside broadcaster Reverend Richard Coles, but was eliminated before the grand finale. In addition, Danny had a victorious run last year when he emerged as the winner of The Masked Singer. His protégé on ITV’s The Voice, Ava, whom he mentored alongside his McFly bandmate Tom Fletcher, clinched the title in the singing competition.
