Privacy NoticeTV host Jodie Kidd spent a brief stint as a presenter on BBC One’s Countryfile back in 2010, with the ex model joining the likes of Matt Baker, Helen Skelton and Anita Rani in the star-studded line-up. While it’s been 14 years since Jodie last appeared on the show, the BBC One show is still going strong, with its presenters highlighting the biggest agricultural and environmental issues. Jodie Kidd however has moved away from TV and has moved her career in a very different direction. The 45-year-old is best known for modelling for the likes of Yves Saint Laurent, Jaeger and Elle magazine before moving into TV. After appearing on Top Gear and competing in shows like Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity MasterChef, she began hosting Channel 5’s The Classic Car Show in 2015.

She has also hosted ITV4’s coverage of the Isle of Man TT race and BBC One’s Countryfile. However, Jodie now owns and runs a pub in West Sussex. She bought the Half Moon Kirdford back in 2017 with two other business partners, with the pub going on to be awarded two AA rosettes the following year. Speaking about buying the pub to the Evening Standard, Jodie said: “I live a few miles down the road and I’ve been coming here most of my life. One day I drove past with two friends and said, ‘Let’s just buy it’. The next thing I knew, it was ours.” She added: “A lot of work goes on in the back office, which I’m terrible at. I’m out front: I entertain people.”

Jodie also spends a lot of time in the country with her horses, having been a showjumper as a child. On Instagram, she shared her evening routine with her two horses – Flash and Monty. “I feel so blessed when life and the world is knocking you left and right , the purity of animals and a good old sunny evening makes it all ok,” she wrote. Jodie is also the mum of adorable dachsund Sausage, with the pair breaking a world record together back in May. Jodie announced on Instagram that she had been part of a group who broke the Guinness World Record for “the largest Dachshund dog walk”. “We Broke a Guinness World Record !!! Grinning from ear to ear. Huge thank you for everybody that helped us break the record and giving up your Saturday to achieve this epic title,” she wrote.

While Jodie has been married twice before – to entrepreneur Aidan Butler from 2005 until 2007 and to captain David Blakeley for a year in 2014 – she is now loved up with fiancé Joe Bates, the CEO of cold plunge retreat Halen. Jodie, who has son Indio, 13, with ex partner Andrea Vianini, shared a photo of her kissing Joe for Valentine’s Day with the caption: “My rock, my hero, my valentine. missing you x” The pair became engaged in 2021 and will be getting married later this year.
