Privacy Notice Coronation Street’s Jack P Shepherd has shared an exciting update ahead of his wedding to fiancée Hanni Treweek. The soap star, famed for playing the role of David Platt in the hit ITV soap since 2000, proposed to Hanni during an incredible safari trip in Africa this summer. Sharing news of their engagement, they posted loved-up snaps as Hannie flashed her stunning diamond ring and wrote: “05.06.24 I said YES to forever!!!” A few months later, plans for their upcoming nuptials are well underway as they revealed their save the date. Taking to Instagram earlier this week, they sweetly shared a snap of their hands, including Hanni’s engagement ring, while placed on a black and white illustrative drawing. It read on the card: “Save the date for the wedding of Hanni Treweek and Jack P Shepherd, 26 July 2025, Manchester.”

While the venue of their wedding was hidden by their hands, the drawing showed a chapel surrounded by other city landscapes. They added the caption: “When thinking about our save the dates we wanted something original that celebrates our home in Manchester, the place we fell in love & built our life together. if you look closely, @dave__draws murals are all over the city & we couldn’t be happier with what Dave has created for us!! thank you for making something so special.” They ended the post with: “26th July 2025 we become Mr & Mrs Shepherd!!” Fans flooded the comments with many candidly wishing for an invite to the soap star’s wedding as one asked: “Can I come and invite me lol. I’m your favourite soaplife.” A second chimed in: “Hope I get an invite @jackpshepherd88 shah I am be the Irish guest.” “I’ll be there,” another joked, before one more added: “So beautiful. Can I get an invite? Lol.” Others shared their congratulations as one wrote: “So happy for you Jack, all the love in the world to you both.” A second said: “Congratulations Jack and Harriet to 2025”. Commenting on the save the date cards another penned: “They are so special, unique, beautiful and just ‘you’.” As one more wrote: “Awww love these! How exciting x.”

Jack shared a series of snaps of their adventures, including the various safaris they’ve ventured on where they spotted lions, elephants and giraffes. During an evening in Zanzibar, they went on a boat trip to take in the sunset and shared a kiss on board, just days before announcing their engagement. The actor met Hanni when she worked in the script department of the ITV soap, and the pair began dating in 2017. Before meeting Hanni, Jack was with Lauren Shippey for 16 years and they share two children, Nyla and Reuben – Jack also has one child, Greyson, from another relationship.
