On Monday, 30 September’s episode, Fiz’s husband Tyrone (Alan Halsall) could be seen celebrating her 40th birthday for the second time as he attempted to makeup for the previous birthday chaos caused by their daughter Hope. However, during the special occasion Fiz wasn’t feeling her best, sparking concern from her friend Izzy Armstrong. As a result, Izzy wasted no time in getting Dr Gaddas on the line for Fiz, who was stunned to hear from her GP that she might be expecting a baby.

Later on in the episode, viewers saw Fiz sneakily stashing a pregnancy test in her bag at the factory. The plot thickened when she returned home to a worried Tyrone, who had planned a special evening for her milestone birthday, and without beating around the bush, Fiz announced she was pregnant. In response, viewers at home took to X to share their reactions as fans processed the news, with one writing: “Fiz telling people she’s preggers within minutes of finding out”. While some Corrie watchers found humour in Fiz’s straightforward reveal, others expressed dread at the thought of Hope getting a sibling potentially as troublesome as her.

However, one cheeky fan raised eyebrows with their own theory. In fact, they questioned whether Tyrone was the father of the baby at all. “Is it Tyrone’s or has Fiz been up to her old tricks with Kirk?,” they wrote. It seems the plot could thicken on the street, teasing a potential DNA shocker that isn’t too outlandish to consider.

With Fiz’s ex-flame Kirk Sutherland (Andy Whyment) having a bit of a rough patch with his on-off partner Beth Tinker, who’s just said goodbye to Weatherfield. Their relationship appeared to hit a hiccup when Beth was caught selling dodgy T-shirts. Some suggest that lonely Kirk might have sought solace in the arms of Fiz during his relationship drama with Beth, suggesting an off-camera romantic reunion.
