Privacy NoticeLove Island star Olivia Attwood has revealed the shocking late-night phone call where she discovered that boyfriend Bradley Dack was seeing another woman – and the three little words which made the penny drop for her. Olivia joined the 2017 series of Love Island, but before that she was dating the footballer. However, that all ended when she after she found out he’d been seeing his ex-girlfriend. Olivia explains that the 2017 incident unfolded after she got a strange call from an upset female. And she was left reeling when she heard the words “it’s Brad’s girlfriend” from the other end of the line. “This girl was really upset and said, ‘Hello’, and I asked, ‘Who’s this?’ She replied, ‘It’s Brad’s girlfriend’. I was like, ‘Whoa, whoa. And again, please’,” she told The Sun. “Then we had a chat, and basically, [he] had been seeing her as well as me.”

Brad and Olivia broke up after the incident and she joined the cast of Love Island. On there, she dated cast mate Chris Hughes. However, she later went back to Bradley and decided to make a go of things with the former Sunderland player. The couple married in June 2023 and Olivia – who has also been a regular on TOWIE and appears on Loose Women – insists the pair are completely committed and they have put those rocky early days of their relationship far behind them, the break-up actually making them stronger in the end. “I feel like we had to break up and fall apart to grow up. And we both grew up a lot in those years,” she says. “Obviously, at the time, I was absolutely furious but we weren’t in a serious, committed relationship.”

And she admits that the whole incident now seems like “another lifetime ago” as far as the pair are concerned. “I mean, he did me dirty, let’s not get it twisted, but it wasn’t like we were in the relationship we are now. It’s such a cliche, but trust is earned. “There’s not one thing anyone can do to win it back. It’s something you can build and grow, or you can damage it. I believe the time you spend together as a couple and every little thing you do throughout life builds that trust … That whole thing feels like another lifetime ago.” The pair’s 2019 engagement and their 2023 wedding was documented in reality series Olivia Meets Her Match.
