Privacy NoticeEx on the Beach is known for its tears, tantrums and bedroom antics, however, Charlotte Dawson, who is pregnant with her third child, previously disclosed that during her 2016 series, it was even more dramatic than ever, with one argument resulting in the cast throwing knives at each other, and one member even being removed from the show. In an interview with The Sun, Charlotte admitted ahead of the premiere in 2016: “It gets very explosive. I get into a massive argument with my ex because he finds out a few home truths on the show.’ As soon as he came in it was a nightmare. It was so toxic and when he came in I obviously swilled him a few times. He was fuming about that. A load of cutlery got thrown around in this argument forks and yeah knives.”

She went on to say: “It gets very explosive. I get into a massive argument with my ex because he finds out a few home truths on the show. As soon as he came in it was a nightmare. It was so toxic and when he came in I obviously swilled him a few times. He was fuming about that. A load of cutlery got thrown around in this argument forks and yeah knives.” Charlotte added: “It happened at dinner so whatever got in the way got thrown. No one got hurt though luckily.” She previously reunited with her ex boyfriend Alex during her time on MTV’s Ex On The Beach. But the couple’s relationship was short-lived, with the duo splitting up over the summer. At the time the reality star told OK! that she had been dreading watching her scenes with the army commando on TV.

“I’m dreading my ex coming on which is going to be like two more weeks. I was with him for seven years,” the fashionista said. Charlotte’s co-star David Hawley also revealed to The Sun that things became so chaotic that one cast member was removed from the show. David said: “There were a few physical fights and that resulted in certain actions coming from that. Like obviously the consequences of those fights resulted in someone having to leave the show for fighting. And the reality stars revealed there’s no sign of a sex ban as has been the case during previous shows. In fact quite the opposite.”

He added: “They provided plenty of condoms for us they filled the bathrooms with them. Everyone was like a dog on heat basically very sweaty!” Now, in 2024, Charlotte was left humiliated earlier this month when it emerged that her fiancé, former rugby league player Matthew Sarsfield, had ‘sexted’ another woman behind her back. Finding out she was pregnant with their third child, after their holiday in July, weeks prior to the scandal, the 31 year old’s world started to crumble around her.

Exclusively speaking to OK! about the scandal, she said: “We’d had such a lovely holiday and then, once we were home, I got a call from my team telling me this woman [Emily] had gone to the papers with messages from Matthew. My manager had told him, too. He was getting Noah’s hair cut and I was on my way to meet him. My heart fell through my stomach. I couldn’t breathe.
