Life on the home front has been a bit rocky for Charlotte Crosby and her fiancé Jake Ankers, as they’ve barely had any quality time together since welcoming their second child, Pixi Cece. Charlotte Crosby, who was swept off her feet when Jake popped the question in Dubai in 2023 with a dazzling five-diamond ring, often refers to him as her “knight in shining armour”. However, he’s currently away managing a renowned comic’s tour through his chauffeuring business, leaving Charlotte to single-handedly manage their six-week-old baby, who’s battling a stomach bug, their two year old Alba, and their various business endeavours. “Jakes’s on the road at the minute,” Charlotte admits with a sigh. “He’s touring with one of his clients. He’s hardly been home, it’s just me and the girls. I can’t wait for the tour to wrap up.” Despite Jake’s absence and the wedding being put on hold, Charlotte maintains that their relationship is as strong as ever. “I’m not fussed about any of it,” she declares. “I’ve got my ring on my finger and I know my fiancé adores me. ” There’s another reason why Charlotte is eager for Jake’s return – she’s feeling more confident and attractive than she has in ages.” I just feel so self-assured,” reveals Charlotte, who’s prepping for a photoshoot during our chat. “After Alba, it took us a year to feel back to normal. It was strange. ” Charlotte is totally embracing her post-surgery body and feeling more fabulous than ever! Despite a bit of bloating from major surgery, she’s loving the reflection staring back at her.

Charlotte Crosby has barely spent time with her fiancé Jake Ankers since giving birth to their second child

Their finances are tight, but Charlotte dreams of a lavish wedding

“I still have a little bit of a bloated stomach because I had major surgery, but I just look at myself in the mirror now and I just feel I look absolutely so sexy. I would be happy to stay looking like this for the rest of my life. I feel like a sexy mam!” she gushes. Even after her C-section, Charlotte finds herself full of beans, able to more easily play with little Alba now that she’s not carrying a bump. “It’s so much easier than being pregnant with a toddler,” Charlotte shares. When she was expecting, fatigue and nausea plagued her days. “When you’re pregnant you literally do not have the same energy as when you’re not,” she explains. “I could not run after a toddler. I couldn’t bend down and I couldn’t pick her up. I had no energy. I constantly wanted to sleep and I felt nauseous all the time. There is nothing harder than being pregnant with a toddler. So this has been a walk in the park!” In memory of their beloved grandmothers, Charlotte and Jake honoured them through their children’s names. Baby Alba carries the middle name Jean, after Charlotte’s grandmother, and their newest bundle, Pixi, was given Cece, a nod to Jake’s grandma Cecila. “It was a memory of my nana for Alba and a memory of Jake’s nana for Pixi,” Charlotte beams with joy.Charlotte’s also busy daydreaming about tying the knot with her fiance Jake Ankers. She dreams of a stunning white wedding that oozes glam, complete with separate private jets for the couple and the dulcet tones of Norah Jones for their magical first dance. Charlotte and Jake’s wedding plans are on hold as they focus on sorting out their finances. The couple, who just welcomed their second child Pixi Cece on 31st January, had initially hoped to tie the knot post-baby. But Charlotte’s perspective has shifted. “I’ve got no interest in a wedding,” she admits. “They’re too expensive and they’re just for one day. If I do something that isn’t how I want it to be I will have this burning anxiety and I don’t feel like I’m at a place where I can book Norah Jones to sing at the wedding. And if I don’t have Norah Jones singing at my wedding, then I don’t know what I’ll do. I want both the groom and the bridal parties to get private jets to the destination.” Despite only taking a week off for maternity leave, Charlotte is fiercely growing her empire, pouring investments into her fashion brand Pepper Girls Club and her fitness app Blitz and Burn. She’s also busy promoting her new TV series Geordie Stories: Charlotte’s New Baby. “I was back at work after the first week,” Charlotte reveals. “I’ve got my business and my mam works for my business and I’ve got ten members of staff and if I don’t work then people can’t get paid. I’ve got a lot of pressure. I do everything in terms of business: I push it, I model for it, I tape the content, I do the social media and if I’m not doing that there are no sales so people can’t get paid.” Money might be tight now, but one day Charlotte hopes to be rich enough never to work again – and that includes quitting her lucrative TV shows. “Ii about ten years time, I’m going to be in a very different place in my life,” Charlotte says confidently. “I’m going to have a lot of money. I’m building my business, my aim is to sell my business. I physically know that I will have the money to book Norah Jones to sing at the wedding. So if I do it beforehand and then in ten years time, I’m like, God, if we had the wedding now, it would be a different story.’ I’m just going to f***ing be furious. I’d love to get married in my forties, that’s what I think now.”
