Privacy NoticeEx-Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby has been talking life plans – and they don’t come much bigger than a wedding and a new baby. It’s been a busy couple of years for the star, who gave birth to a baby daughter, Alba, in October 2022, then got engaged to fiancé Jake Ankers soon after. However, she’s not done yet, and talk is already happening around another baby sooner rather than later. She says of being a mum: “It’s the best, best, best, best, best thing ever. I can’t actually believe that I didn’t do this sooner. It’s so fulfilling. It’s just great. Like I literally pinch myself every day. I’m like, This can’t actually be my life. This can’t actually be my little girl. She’s just perfect. I would love three children.”

And she hopes one of those tots will turn out to be little brother for Alba. “I’ve got to have a boy at some point because it’s only fair on Jake, he would really love a little boy,” she says. “I do love the girls but I know girls are hard work when they get older. In terms of timings, she’s keeping an open mind, despite also having a wedding to plan. “Well, you can’t really decide can you?” she says. “But I would like to have another one before I am married. But if it doesn’t happen, it doesn’t happen. You can’t just click your fingers.” As for her wedding, while many of her reality star pals have gone for lavish big days, Charlotte hopes to keep her nuptials a smaller affair, with no plans for multiple bridesmaids and hundreds of guests. “It’s going to be abroad at the end of 2026,” she says. “We’re going to see the venue soon. I just want a little bit longer to save.”

“I don’t want to have lots of people there,” she states. “I’ve learnt through all of the parties through my pregnancy that the worst thing ever is when you have to be the host so you have to try and talk to everyone… awful. I want only my closest and nearest.” Charlotte recently took part in this year’s Celebrity MasterChef, and admits the experience left her in tears as she juggled the challenge of the work with motherhood. “I love work, it’s just the realisation that actually having a baby is a full-time job in itself. It’s the hardest job I’ve ever done. It’s 24/7,” she says. “There is just no switch off. You’re thinking about everything to keep this tiny human alive and then you have work as well. You’ve just got to make it work and power through.”

She say of her Masterchef experience: “I’m not going to lie, I did have a bit of a cry at one point. I tried so hard at this one thing but it didn’t go as I planned. I am a little bit of a wuss. I cry from time to time.” Celebrity MasterChef airs Tuesday 13th August at 8pm on BBC One.
