Privacy NoticeColeen Nolan beamed from ear to ear as she and her boyfriend Michael Jones enjoyed a romantic dance together following the emotional wedding of her sister Denise. The Loose Women panellist travelled up to Blackpool to witness Denise marry her long-term fiancé – now husband – Tom Anderson, who she’s been with for almost 50 years. Coleen was accompanied for the special day by logistics manager Michael, who she met on Tinder, and pair appeared to be in their own world as they danced along to the DJ at the wedding reception. The TV star, 59, was dressed in a flattering navy-blue maxi tea dress with white polka dots and a frilled collar, and Michael wore a smart tailored navy suit.

Coleen and Michael first started dating in 2021 and Coleen recently sparked rumours of an engagement after saying she was “obsessed with looking at diamond rings”. Coleen was previously married to EastEnders actor Shane Richie, and then to musician Ray Fensome. Speaking to OK! about whether her experiences had put her off tying the knot for a third time, Coleen said: “I might get engaged, but that doesn’t necessarily mean I’m going to walk down the aisle. I know Michael would like to marry me and to be fair to him, it’s probably from insecurity because I’ve finished with him three times since I met him.”

She continued: “It was all my issues, because of what I’d gone through, so I was pushing him away thinking I couldn’t deal with it. I’ve had therapy, I’ve sorted my life out, and I’m very open to everything he’s providing me emotionally, and it’s fantastic. So let’s not try to fix something that isn’t broken.” According to bride Denise, 72, Coleen chose to swap her dressy shoes for comfy trainers so she could make the most of the night’s entertainment courtesy of a DJ set by a family friend. After the bride and groom danced their first official dance to Stevie Wonder’s Sunshine Of My Life, it was time for the other Nolan sisters – including Anne, Maureen and Linda – to hit the dancefloor.

“All of us really do like to dance,” Denise told OK!. “After Maureen’s birthday on Friday, I thought she’d be so tired, but she was up all night dancing and Coleen went to change from her lovely fancy shoes into her trainers because she wanted to dance, and I ended up dancing in my bare feet because my shoes were killing me. “The DJ had a whole set of the girls’ songs, so he played them and the girls did all the routines, which everybody loved.”Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
