Scarlett, who is the 10-year-old daughter of Coronation Street stars Tina O’Brien and Ryan Thomas , is already showcasing her talent and dreams of being a musical theatre starlet. The youngster is now working on her talent at the Drama MOB, which Tina and best friend Esther Morgan set up in 2013.

Speaking about her daughter’s singing abilities, mother-of-two Tina, 36, told Manchester Evening News: “From the age of three she started singing so she started singing before she showed any interest in acting. “She used to say ‘I don’t really fancy the acting but I like the singing’ and she used to sing Castle On A Cloud from Les Mis. “A teacher sent me a video of her singing it and I thought ‘oh my gosh she’s actually really quite good.’”

The couple also announced they are expecting their first child, a baby boy, together, sharing a video featuring Scarlett finding out that she’s going to have a new sibling. Pregnant Lucy and Ryan then instruct Scarlett to open a box which reads “open me” before a balloon pops out with “you’re going to be a big sister” written on it. Little Scarlett then breaks down in tears as she’s comforted by Lucy and Ryan, who share a kiss during the emotional family moment.

“Are you happy?!,” dad Ryan asks his daughter, who nods in response. Fans of the couple couldn’t help but love that they shared the sweet video, with one emotional user writing alongside the Instagram video: “I’m actually sobbing! This is amazing.” A second overwhelmed fan wrote: “Aww! This made me well up!” In a recent interview with OK! magazine, the couple confirmed plans to start a family, despite Ryan previously saying he didn’t want anymore children.
