Leah became a popular TikTok creator after sharing her fight against cancer and updates on her medical care. In 2020, she explained the alarming symptoms she had been experiencing, saying: “I had really bad back pains for 10 months. It was constant then I lost all the feeling in my left leg and I knew something was most definitely wrong.” Leah used the video platform to share her journey and spread awareness about life with cancer, including the highs and lows. On why she wanted to share her journey, she said: “I wanted to start a TikTok to express my journey and show people my life living with cancer – the ups and downs of it. People absolutely love it.” The brave young woman posted dance videos, comedy content and important updates about her condition. One such clip gained over 4.5 million views.

Just a day before Leah passed away, her best friend Vikki shared a heartbreaking update on TikTok, revealing: “Leah is on end of life now and is unable to move or talk, but she is reacting to us with noises and knows we are there.” She also praised Andrew, who stood by Leah through the toughest times. “Andrew hasn’t left her side, he’s been an absolute rock to her throughout this journey. The main thing is that Leah is so peaceful now, she looks as beautiful as ever and we’re just grateful we can be at her bedside and hold her and to comfort her through it.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
