Pete has busy personal and work lives

More exciting news Last week, I revealed that I have a role in a Channel 5 series but I’ve actually got another announcement for you all – I am one of the leads in another drama! It’s a four-part series called Falcon that starts filming next April in Malta. I guess the reason I’m telling you all this is because for so long I was really quiet and I was spending time with the baby but all of this other stuff was going on in the background. Sometimes I just get on with it and put my head down, so sometimes when I appear, quiet or not doing much, it’s likely because I’m working on things like this. I’m so happy it’s all finally starting to happen now, I’m really looking forward to it. I’m glad I’m getting to pursue more acting now – and it’s not been overnight at all, it’s something I’ve always been working towards. More announcements coming soon…
Baby Arabella is now six months old!

A big milestone Arabella is six months old this week and I’m so grateful I’ve been able to spend so much quality time with her and Emily recently. It’s been amazing just to be there with Emily and go through the whole process together. She’s now at the stage where things change, she’s pretty much sleeping through the night and is ready to start weaning. Adding an extra child in the mix is a big change, a beautiful but hectic one. The family actually feels complete now with the baby, it’s perfect.
Maya is joining The Masked Singer panel

Judge Maya Maya Jama has become a judge on the Masked Singer judging panel, replacing Rita Ora, and I think it’s a great move. She’s really smashing it at the moment and is a good presenter. I’ve been asked to be a contestant on the Masked Singer a few times but I’m not sure whether I’d do it. It’s great to watch but I’m not sure if I’d like to be in the competition. I do have my Strictly skills that I could use on the Masked Dancer, but who knows, never say never to either!
Vogue spoke on misconceptions
(Image: Getty Images for BAFTA)
Common misconceptions I read that Vogue Williams said recently the biggest misconception people have of her is that she was a model but she wasn’t actually a professional model, as if that actually matters but hey ho. It got me thinking about what the biggest misconception people have about me is, and I think the funniest one is that I’ve only ever had one hit! I like to joke about that when I’m on stage, I’ll say, ‘I’ve had three number ones, platinum records, 10 top five singles,’ but the joke is that ‘people don’t remember any of them!’ I think there are always misconceptions about people, but it doesn’t bother me. It’s one of those things you should never worry about.
He’s impressed with Chris

Strictly’s inspiration I’ve still got to catch up on the new series of Strictly Come Dancing but I wanted to say how amazing I think Chris McCausland is. I know first hand what rehearsals are like, so I can only imagine what it’s like learning the dances through senses other than sight. He is doing great. I hope he goes far in the competition!Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
