Privacy Notice Nick Knowles’s fiancee, Katie Dadzie, has posted photos in which she is modelling her Boa Boa lingerie brand just a few days after Nick was eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing. Katie, who recently struck a deal with retailer Next to stock Boa Boa on their website, was a support throughout Nick’s bumpy journey on the dance show. He began his time on the series with a fun jive to Starship’s eighties hit We Built This City on the first live show, but then sustained an injury to his arm and shoulder whilst changing a tyre by the side of the road. Just as it appeared he had healed from that, Nick executed an awkward jump during rehearsals for Movie Week in week three, badly injured his knee and had to miss that week’s live competition.

He and his professional partner Luba were given a ‘bye’ so they could return the following week, and they finally got to perform a Charleston to Rain on the Roof from Paddington 2 on Saturday 12 October. However, Luba’s modified routine to compensate for Nick’s knee didn’t wow the judges, and the pair ended up in the bottom two alongside Shayne Ward and his partner Nancy Xu. When it came time for the judges’ decisions, all four – Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse and Anton du Beke – voted to send Nick home. DIY SOS presenter Nick, 61 and Katie, 34, first met in 2019, through their children who were friends. She later confessed that she “actually didn’t like him very much” initially. However, after agreeing to a coffee date, they discovered shared interests such as cooking and history. Katie, who is a mum to daughters Savannah, eight, and Alex, five, from a previous relationship, has, however, been on the receiving end of online trolling due to her and Nick’s age-gap relationship. She has also been subjected to harsh accusations of being a ‘gold digger’ seeking to exploit Nick’s wealth – allegations which the TV star has vehemently defended against.
