Privacy Notice If Maya Jama is phased by recent snaps of her ex, Stormzy, 31, kissing his new girlfriend, she isn’t showing it, as she treated herself to a bouncy new blow-dry and a facial over the weekend. The 30-year-old Love Island presenter took to Instagram to share a video of herself sitting in a chair at a salon and touching her freshly blown locks. She was wearing an edgy white tank top and acid-washed jeans. With her usual dose of witty humour, Maya poked fun at the autumnal weather as she wrote: “And the rain falls as soon as the blow dry is done,” adding a melting smile emoji. After getting her hair done, the TV star headed off to a beauty clinic in London where she sported a hydrating-looking mask and had her dark hair swept back from her face with a beauty towel. This week, Stormzy, whose real name is Michael Omari Owuo Jr, was seen kissing American songstress Victoria Monet just three months after his split from Maya.

Stormzy and Victoria were spotted locked in a tender embrace at Heathrow Airport, with both of them grinning from ear to ear. An onlooker said: “Both Stormzy and Victoria looked absolutely smitten with each other. They kissed, and when he hugged her, he picked her up in the air. It seems like he is in a great place after his split from Maya.” Maya and Stormzy have had a complicated relationship history, after first getting together in 2014 before going on to split five years later amid rumours that the Blinded by Your Grace rapper had been unfaithful. However, in the summer of 2023, their fans were delighted when they reignited their romance, with many no doubt hoping that the reunion was a forever thing. Sadly, in July 2024, the pair confirmed that they had split once again as they released a joint statement. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Maya shared a message from both of them stating that they had “tried” to make things work. In a lengthy but heartfelt message announcing their split, the former couple told fans: “We’ve been laughing whilst drafting this because we never, ever, in a million years thought we’d be the couple announcing a breakup, but for the sake of clarity and, more importantly, to allow us the space and grace that’s needed for us both to be able to navigate this next bit of our lives with peace, we thought it might be best to.” “We fell madly in love in 2014, broke up in 2019, and then spent five years manoeuvring life apart.
