Privacy NoticeKatie Price is set to reveal her heartache over IVF in a raw and revealing Channel 4 documentary, sharing her journey of trying to have another child. The 46 year old mum of five allowed cameras to capture her attempts with former flame Carl Woods, 35, despite their split in 2023. The show, which airs next year, promises to give an intimate look at Katie’s life, including appearances from all her children. However, insiders dish that her current beau, JJ Slater, won’t be making an appearance on screen. A source from the telly world shared: “We’ll see Katie go on a tough – and unsuccessful – journey to become a mum again. She faces lots of obstacles, ups and downs along the way. The programme will shine a light on the struggles women face while trying for a baby in their 40s.”

Katie, who has been open about her fertility struggles, admitted over the summer that she had faced three failed IVF attempts within a year, saying, “My eggs are too old, I’ll get a donor egg,” in a candid interview. Her family includes eldest son Harvey, 22, with ex Dwight York, Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, with first husband Peter Andre, and Jett, 10, and Bunny, 9, with third husband Kieran Hayler. Chatting with Love Island’s Olivia Attwood on her podcast, Katie opened up about her struggles with IVF and her determination to have another child. She said: “People have got to realise it doesn’t matter if I act young or if I look younger, your body is still 46, and your eggs get less and they get older and it’s harder”, reports the Mirror. When Olivia asked if she definitely wanted another child, Katie responded: “Or two. It’s going to happen one way or the other. I don’t know how or well and I will, I’ll try.” In her latest book, Katie revealed that she had found a clinic with “donor eggs and sperm ready” and was planning to “have them implanted”.

She shared that she had chosen sperm from a man “who is mixed race from America” and was also considering using a donor egg. Katie is currently dating JJ Slater, who appeared on Married At First Sight. The couple started seeing each other earlier this year and recently took a trip to Cyprus. However, insiders say he won’t be featured in her upcoming documentary, which will only include footage from 2023. Katie split from ex-fiance Carl Woods last year amid allegations of infidelity. A source close to Carl said: “He’s not looking forward to reliving that chapter of his life.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
