Privacy NoticeDame Prue Leith absolutely slayed the runway at London Fashion Week, turning heads in a daringly racy ensemble. The 84 year old Great British Bake Off judge confidently strutted her stuff in a bold black leather dress that was nothing short of show-stopping, as she was the surprise star in the Vin + Omi show on Friday. Her outfit featured risque slits that daringly climbed from the hem to the nipples, held together with eye-catching red laces reminiscent of dominatrix chic. The look was completed with matching glossy elbow-length gloves for an extra touch of allure. The culinary queen owned the catwalk, looking every inch the vamp with her smokey eyes, voluminous hair, and a pop of bright scarlet on her lips. The design duo Vin and Omi named their collection Moxie, defining it as embodying “force of character, determination, or nerve”.

In anticipation of the fashion spectacle held at the Other House South Kensington, they shared: “It’s our 20th Anniversary year – MOXIE will show past and future works, new eco developments and collaborations and surprise guest models”, reports the Mirror. Bake Off aficionados might not bat an eyelid seeing the TV celebrity donning a tad edgy attire as she often catches the eye on the Channel 4 programme with necklaces that hint at more adult-themed accessories. Making an appearance on America’s Watch What Happens Live last year, host Andy Cohen didn’t shy away from questioning her about her necklace selections, highlighting an instance where she sported a red sphere on her neckline. He remarked: “Well, I mean, that does look like a ball gag… Do you know what a ball gag is?” In a snappy response, she said: “Well, I do now, only because of the furore about that necklace.”

She added: “I mean, I just think it’s such nonsense… I don’t want to be intimidated by lots of chaps on Twitter who’ve got dirty minds.” Earlier this week, the baking expert joked that her husband, fashion designer John Playfair wished he had married former GBBO judge Mary Berry instead. Prue said their home was a “cake-free zone” as they are both looking to lose weight. She remarked: “I so seldom make cakes. The fact is, we’re both too fat. So, I don’t make cakes because it’s not good for us. “My husband constantly says, ‘I wish I’d married Mary Berry.'”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
