The actor, 60, best known for his iconic portrayal of Alfie Moon on the long-running soap, shares daughter Romanie-Skye with his wife, actress Christie Goddard, 45. Shane took to social media to share the family photos to celebrate daughter Romanie-Skye’s 13th birthday earlier this year. In the photos, the family enjoy a fun day out together at Thorpe Park for Romanie-Skye’s big day. Shane can be seen beaming in a casual outfit for a day at the theme park, with his arm wrapped around his teen daughter, and joined by mum Christie in a cosy casual puffer jacket.

Shane captioned the picture with shout outs to the milestone birthday and the theme park’s thrill rides: “13th birthday celebrations were in full swing (literally) at @thorpeparkofficial. If anyone finds my stomach near The Swarm, please let me know! We bleedin’ loved it and can’t wait to go back.” The proud dad also shared a heartwarming collage of pictures of daughter Romanie-Skye from a tot, right through to her 13th birthday, sharing adorable photos of her as a newborn, and even playing an angel in the school play. The EastEnders Star captioned the pictures: “”In a blink of an eye, our baby girl is officially a teenager. Happy 13th birthday to our Romanie-Skye.” He gushed: “Roro, our little love, you are not only brilliant and beautiful, funny and clever but most importantly you are huge hearted, kind souled, and emotionally mature way beyond your years.” The star added: “Your smile brightens up our world and we couldn’t love you more.” Shane’s followers were quick to flood the comments with birthday messages. One fan wrote, “Happy 13th birthday to your lovely daughter Romanie-Skye. Hope she has the best day ever xxx,” while another added, “Mate, they grow up too quick I tell you!”

While Shane is a household name thanks to playing cheeky chappie Alfie Moon for the past 22 years (with a couple of breaks here and there), he tends to keep his family life more private. Shane and wife Christie have been married since 2007 and have three children together, Mackenzie Blue, 18, Lolita-Belle, 16, and Romanie Skye, 13. Shane also shares two children with ex-wife Coleen Nolan, Shane Jr, 36, and Jake, 32.
