Privacy NoticeBritain’s Got Talent fans were left frustrated as the series final aired on Sunday, 2 June, declaring that it was “ruined” because of the passionate reactions from the live audience. During the highly-anticipated final, viewers complained about the overwhelming crowd noise – predominantly booes – which regularly interrupted former Strictly star Bruno Tonioli’s commentary during the first few acts. Many of the show’s fans took to social media to vent their frustration, with one writing: “The Bruno chants may ruin #BGT 2024 it’s so annoying”, and another adding: “Can someone turn down the audience? The noise each time Bruno speaks is deafening.” A third viewer echoed the sentiment and added: “I’m bored of these boo’s every time bruno talks, it’s ruining the programme.”

Other viewers pleaded for ITV’s sound crew to step in, with one person stating: “Audience, too loud. Sound engineer, sort the mix please,” and “Can they not turn down that audience noise….”, reports the Daily Star. It’s not the first time the audience noise has been a source of annoyance for viewers at home – as well as for Bruno’s fellow judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon. When shadow puppet act Matteo performed on the show on the show on 28 May, Alesha’s feedback comments received such loud booes that she had to stop speaking and wait for them to calm down. Presenters Ant and Dec also had to wait a while before turning to head judge Simon for his own thoughts on the performance. Taking to social media, fans were quick to share their annoyance, with one writing: “If you think the shadow puppet guy isn’t genius, you can f*** off into space. #BGT.”

Another hot topic during Sunday’s final was the outfit choices of the judges, especially Amanda Holden’s show-stopping metalic gown. The TV personality looked sensational in her shining metallic silver strapless gown which had a plunging sweetheart neckline and statement bodice and sheer skirt. After a week of watching acts vying for a place in tonight’s final, viewers were lined up to see the 10 who made it through – including musical impressionist Mike Woodhams, Innocent Masuku, SSaulabi Performance Troupe, magician Jack Rhodes, dancers Haribow and magician Trixy. The BGT winner is crowned by hosts Ant and Declan and wins an impressive £250,000 prize pot as well as the opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Performance, on November 22nd at the iconic Royal Albert Hall.Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
