I’m super, super proud of it. “I can’t wait for people to see that, and also Doctor Who coming out later this year as well, which is a very cool thing to be involved in.” Nicola shared how “proud” she was to work with her best friend on Big Mood, explaining: “We’ve known each other for around 15 years and went to drama school together, so to finally get to work on something she’s written, and I’m playing the lead in, it’s so, so cool.”

However, despite her busy year, Nicola earned points with her nieces and nephews for taking them to Disneyland Paris. “I had not been to Disneyland Paris or Disneyland Hotel before. It’s so magical. I don’t know what I expected, but it’s exceeding my expectations constantly,” she said. “Disneyland Paris massively makes you feel like a kid again, forget about all the troubles of the world and just have the best time. You see everyone wearing their Mickey ears, all so full of joy. “It feels like it just brings everyone back to that magical time in childhood; it’s so cool. Disney magic is pure unfiltered joy.”

Touching on the hotel itself, Nicola added: “It’s magical, immersive, and so much fun! I’m staying in the Beauty and the Beast-themed room and everything is so well thought out, they literally just transport you into a Disney movie. “I didn’t know what it would be like seeing Mickey Mouse coming to dinner, and then Goofy, and seeing all the kids get so excited, and seeing their joy just brings you joy. “It’s like nothing else I’ve ever experienced.” Also at the reopening was Eleanor Tomlinson and Isabel Getty.Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
