Privacy NoticeAnita Dobson, legendary Queen guitarist Sir Brian May’s other half, has shared her total confidence in his health bounce-back after a stroke scare. The rock royalty was advised to put his feet up having been whisked off to hospital a couple of hops ago with a minor stroke. Despite it being tough for him to dial down the pace, he knows kicking back is key for bouncing back to health. Speaking with The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column, Anita dished out: “He’s been told to rest. It’s hard to keep him resting, but he needs to, otherwise he won’t get well. He’s doing great he’s on the road, he’s doing really, really well. We’re very pleased. I’m completely confident he’ll make a full recovery.”

“You have to take things slowly, chill a bit. He’s not that kind of animal!” Even in the thick of it, Brian found the time for a laugh, jesting about his “very exciting” dash to the hospital, reports the Mirror. Anita, once of ‘ EastEnders ‘ fame and now 75, commented with a chuckle: “It’s good to keep a sense of humour.” Meanwhile, the guitar wizard, 77, shared tales of the “little health hiccup” that saw him lose the grip on his arm, reassuring devotees that he’s all right and happily, still strumming away. The rock legend shared an uplifting message on Instagram, telling fans: “I hope you’re all well out there. I’m here to bring you first of all some good news. I think the good news is that I can play guitar after the events of the last few days and I say this because it was in some doubt because that little health hiccup that I mentioned happened about a week ago and what they called it was a minor stroke and all of a sudden – out of the blue – I didn’t have any control over this arm so was a little scary.” He also took a moment to express his gratitude toward the healthcare staff, saying: “I have to say I had the most fantastic care and attention from Frimley Hospital where I went blue lights flashing… the lot. Very exciting! “.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK! MagazineFacebookTwitterCommentMore OnEastEnders
