Privacy NoticeAnna Archer and Eli Topp rose to prominence as one of the eight couples to take part in Olivia Attwood’s new reality show, Bad Boyfriends. And after walking away from the relationship bootcamp and describing themselves as ‘stronger than ever’, Eli, 43, pulled out all the stops to celebrate Anna’s 25th birthday, throwing a massive Ibiza themed bash and forking out £30K on the celebration. “It was crazy, I couldn’t even take it all in when I walked in,” Anna tells OK! as we sit down for a chat following the party, admitting she unsurprisingly is feeling a tad ‘worse for wear’ after the celebrations. With a number of fellow reality stars on the guest list, including MAFS’ Shona Manderson and Matt Pilmoor, Anna’s party featured live entertainment from every corner; with fire breathers, dancers, a contortionist, sax and percussion musicians and Ibiza DJ PJ Gardiner all performing.
The party was planned by her boyfriend Eli Topp, who spent a whopping £30K on the celebrations
The bash was Ibiza White Party themed and saw all guests, except birthday girl Anna, dressed in white
Donning a stunning custom mini dress with gold embellishments, Anna looked gorgeous for the special day, which was organised by Eventually Pampas and Loveleigh events, as all of her guests, including Eli, adhered to the all-white dress code. Admitting that he spent five months planning the big day, Eli explained that he wanted everything to be ‘perfect’ for Anna: “I don’t know how many hours I’ve spent on this but I was planning everything to the last detail, I put schedules together, got the guest list together, sent the reminders to guests and told them what they were allowed to wear and bring. Everything, I even got Anna’s cake in her favourite colours.” With a vodka ice sculpture and a flower arch awaiting Anna when she arrived, the reality star admits it wasn’t quite as low-key an entrance as she’d have liked. “I didn’t want a big entrance, Eli made me do a big entrance, I was like, ‘Oh, my God. It’s my worst nightmare’, I was trying to sneak in the back! But after a little while I got to really enjoy it,” she explained.

“Anna had told me that she’s never really had a big birthday party, it’s always just been with her family or something small. So I thought, ‘You know what, I’m going to make her the biggest and best birthday party ever’. 25 is a milestone that should be celebrated right,” said Eli. As we joke how Eli will top this for Anna’s 30th birthday, he quips: “There might be a wedding before the 30th, that will be next level”. As Eli details how he has found his ‘forever’ in Anna, the latter jokes: “He can’t be that bad a boyfriend if he’s done all of this for me”. Anna and Eli were the first couple to leave Bad Boyfriends as they decided to bow out of the reality show early following a tough time being apart from one another and within the high-pressure environment. And while they may not have gone through the whole process, the couple insist that they are in a stronger place than ever.
Entertainment included fire dancers and musicians across the venue

“I think we’re probably the strongest couple from the show,” said Anna. “And maybe people didn’t think that at the time, but, there’s been quite a few breakups and a lot of drama between between couples since the show. But we’ve remained strong.” Despite Anna putting Eli forward for the ITV show and managing to keep it a secret from him until she surprised him during filming, she admits he did have a suspicion that not all was as it seemed. “Eli knew something was going on, he’s really good at knowing things like that, it’s like he had a sixth sense so he didn’t look too surprised to see me when I showed up.”

And while the show sees women sick of their boyfriends’ bad habits and hoping for change, Eli still insists that the couple ‘didn’t need’ to go on the show. “I don’t think we needed to change things, but, I guess I did realise that sometimes I could say things which were upsetting Anna and I couldn’t see that, so it did help with that.” The duo have faced backlash since the appearance, as Anna admits viewers have accused her of being with businessman Eli for his money, while Eli has faced allegations of being ‘controlling’. “I get a lot of, ‘You’re Eli for his money’ or whatever from people. And he gets a lot of hate from people saying he was controlling on the show and that he doesn’t really care about me. But we only care about how people in our lives and that we’ve known for years see us, not anyone else.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
