Privacy NoticeCelebrity SAS Who Dares Wins has officially started with 15 new recruits attempting to prove their abilities. But there’s one man who viewers are questioning about why he’s gone to New Zealand in the first place. The stars were thrown in at the deep end and asked to walk across two wobbly planks suspended 335 feet in the air above a canyon. Poor Bobby Norris was shaking before he even got up in the air, and the TOWIE star couldn’t even step off of the platform before the staff declared he had ‘failed’ the mission – along with 13 of the other celebrities.

Fans weren’t sure why Bobby had signed up to the series

On the return back to camp from the task, Bobby threw up in the back of the car, and viewers took to social media, mostly to ask why Bobby had signed up. One viewer asked: “Why has Bobby Norris signed up for this? #CelebritySAS.” A second bluntly said: “Come on Bobby, pull it together #saswhodareswins.” Some viewers, however, are hoping that Bobby might make it to the end of the course, one wrote: “Would be some turnaround if Bobby got to the end after this”. Another added: “I feel like bobby might end up being a dark horse and surprising everyone”.

The staff were not impressed by Bobby’s attempts and ranked him last. One of the instructors called him “patheticness extraordinaire”, and reduced Bobby to tears. At the end of the first episode, the staff pulled Bobby in for a chat where he confessed that he had joined the show in the hope that he would “not be so consumed by fear”.

He’s not the only star that fans have been unimpressed by, John Barrowman quit the series just 32 minutes in. John hadn’t even been shown his camp quarters when he ripped the number off his arm and announced he was ‘out’ and promptly left the camp. One viewer remarked: “#SASWhoDaresWins Anyone who bails early doors should only get a percentage of their fee.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
