With both children having spread their wings, the couple is now planning to sell their lavish $12 million (£9.5m) estate to enjoy more time in Europe and Bermuda. The family’s cherished Westchester County, NY home was bought five years ago, reports the Mirror. In a heartfelt chat with the Wall Street Journal, Catherine said: “When I purchased our Irvington home I knew our family would share many happy times here, and we have!” She continued: “Now that both our son and daughter have left the nest it seems like the right time to sell.” They originally snapped up the property for $4.5m in 2019 and lovingly renovated it, all while preserving its charming 1920s features. The sprawling abode boasts eight en-suite bedrooms and an impressive total of 12 bathrooms. When they’re not busy renovating their lavish homes, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas enjoy a round of golf together, but it’s not just any ordinary game. In a candid chat with The Guardian, 78 year old Michael shared their saucy secret for keeping the spark alive on the golf course.

He said: “The rules are I have to whip it out if I don’t hit it past the ladies’ tee, which I manage most of the time.” He continued, revealing the cheeky details: “But there have been times when we’re playing alone and I have to give her a little show because we are competitive – but only when I play with my wife.” Catherine also spilled the beans about their risque wager during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show in 2016, admitting that she doesn’t limit this playful challenge to her hubby alone. “I can kick his a** at golf, if I say so,” she boasted about her skills against Michael. She continued: “I’m pretty good, better than him and we have a bet that if he ducks a shot he has to drop his pants. It’s not just my husband, it’s any man I play.” Despite the risk of paparazzi catching them in the act, Catherine insists that the game must go on. She added: “There has been an issue with the paparazzi so I make him go into the bushes. A deal is a deal.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
