Privacy NoticeOver the years, Britain’s Got Talent has seen some unforgettable acts grace its stage, and Chapter 13 is one of them. The boyband, who were just teenagers at the time, consisted of Jake Slack, Tom Absigold, Noah Key and Jacob Swann. Their audition first aired on TV on May 11, 2019 when they performed a Stevie Wonder medley that included Signed, Sealed, Delivered, Sir Duke and Superstition. Their performance was so impressive that Amanda Holden hit her Golden Buzzer for them, sending them straight to the live semi-finals. After their performance, an impressed Amanda said: “I don’t think I’ve ever seen four young musicians so together. The drummer, you were amazing. The guitar playing was spot on. Some of the faces you were pulling were fantastic. I just think you were absolutely incredible.”

When they reached the semi-finals, Chapter 13 performed “We Own This Town”, an original song they wrote with McFly’s Tom Fletcher’s help. Although they were eliminated at this stage, they continued as a band and released the four-track Me EP. However, in 2022, the boys decided to part ways when they announced their split on Instagram after three members chose to leave the group. Tom expressed his gratitude to everyone who had supported them over the years in a heartfelt post. The post read: “I want to thank every single one of you who has shown us love and support these past four years from the bottom of my heart. It’s been an incredible and unforgettable journey made better in every way because of you. Take care and stay safe everyone. Hope to see you all very soon.”

According to his Instagram, Tom is still pursuing his passion for music and has even released a new single titled “Worst of You.” He often shares clips of himself singing on social media. Jacob is also continuing with his musical journey alongside Jake, and they’ve formed a band named Matted. Jake plays the guitar while Jacob handles the bass. They seem to have spent part of their summer performing at gigs across the country. Meanwhile, Noah is still rocking the drums and occasionally shares videos of his performances on Instagram.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
