One happy customer shared: “Love this silky mousse texture and leaves my skin feeling soft and nourished after use. I use the take the day off balm already and find this a fantastic addition to add to my double cleanse routine.” Another pleased buyer commented: “Tried the mini first and had to get the big tube, as this is an excellent cleanser. I use a small amount to remove make-up (including waterproof mascara and glitter), SPF and the day’s grime, and nothing I have thrown to it can resist it.” It’s important to mention that you should skip the eye area according to the Take The Day Off Facial Cleansing Mousse product description. Unfortunately on shopper was left disappointed with the cleanser, as they explained: “Love the Clinique Take the Day Off range so had high hopes for this product. Beautiful consistency, lathers up nicely, very little product required. However my dry skin felt really tight after use so it may be better for those with oilier or more normal skin types.” Another buyer added: “Works well, the balm would be better as it is more efficient taking off more makeup. However this works well with a subtle light makeup look.” Clinique’s Moisture Surge 100H Auto-Replenishing Hydrator would cost you £15 at Boots for a 15ml pot if you were to purchase it individually. The product has earned a stellar 4.7 star-rating, with one fan saying: “Best moisturiser I have ever, ever, ever used on my face.” Sadly one buyer wasn’t completely satisfied with the moisturiser, as they noted: “It’s nice and feels nice, but does pull under makeup. I prefer dramatically different moisturiser, it’s nice for no makeup days though.” Someone else highlighted an issue: “When first using this it feels so silky and hydrated. It is weightless and absorbs really well, however within 10 minutes my skin is dry again so it’s not heavy moisturising.” On the other hand, a delighted Boots customer wrote: “This is the best moisturiser I’ve ever had. My skin has never felt so soft and hydrated – ever. And the softness lasts all day. My ‘go to’ moisturiser now.” Someone else added: “Always reliable. The best moisturiser for dry skin.” To get your hands on the free Clinique gift set, visit Boots here and spend £55 on Clinique.
