Privacy NoticeTOWIE’s Billie Shepherd has shockingly revealed that her seven-year-old son, Arthur, spent a huge amount of money on his iPad. In a clip from family’s reality show Billie and Greg: The Family Diaries, which appeared on TikTok, Billie revealed to the cameras that Arthur had racked up a huge bill without her realising. She said: “Arthur has been spending on my card. Yes, I didn’t say, you know, you’re never to spend anything on this without my permission. You always come to me and ask me first. I didn’t do all of that because I just put the lock on it and thought, oh, he’s not getting into that. Little did I know.”
Arthur spend a lot of money on his iPad
Later in the episode, Billie was sitting with her mum, Sue and another friend when she opened up on the situation: “I noticed before, ages ago, he’d like done a couple of big spends on it. So we put like a parent lock thing on it where if they want to buy something, it gives you alerts so you get permission.” Billie discovered the spending when she was going through her emails that she found “hundreds of invoices” detailing payments Arthur had made playing football game FIFA on his iPad. Sue then said to tell their friend how much Arthur had spent. To which Billie replied: “I had to stop scrolling because it was like £199, £99.99, £29.99, £299.99.” Sue asked what Arthur had spent the money on to which Billi responded “players, games – it’s air, nothing!”
Billie was concerned she was the victim of fraud
Billie even asked her husband, Greg Shepherd, if there had been any sign of fraudulent activity on their account before realising it was her son. Billie confronted her son and threatened to take him to the police station if he didn’t confess. As a consequence Billie has taken the iPad from Arthur and he’s not even asked for it back, with the mum noting “he knows” how much trouble he’s in. The full episode will be released on Wednesday (16 October). Fans took to the comments section to weigh in on the situation with one writing: “And that ladies and gentlemen is ‘gentle parenting’ at its finest”. Another joked: “My card would decline so all good here”.
Some fans say they’ve been in a similar situation to Billie and Arthur

A few had been in similar situations with one adding: “oh god we’ve been through this, hundreds gone and no way of getting it back”. Another said: “My son spent over £1200 before we realised”. Someone else pitched in with “My daughter did this had to block the card”.Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
