Privacy NoticeBig Brother legend Nadia Almada joined the Loose Women on Tuesday afternoon, 20 years after her iconic win in the house, looking jaw-droppingly different from Channel 4 stint. The 47-year-old was the first ever trans-person on the reality show when she featured back in 2004, taking the win in the fifth series. She then went on to compete in 2010’s Ultimate Big Brother. The reality star looked stunning as she joined the Loose Women chat about her monumental win two decades ago, looking very different with long blonde hair, opposed to the curly black hair she sported back in 2004. The former Big Brother winner wore a khaki dress, matching with Rylan Clark who was ‘fangirling’ over his idol.

Looking back on old pictures of herself from the time Nadia said about her younger self: “Looking at those pictures I need to profusely apologise to her for fat shaming her, objectifying her, for mistreating her,” as she could be seen tearing up. The star then spoke about what she’d been up to since her time on the show, speaking about working as a hair stylist, having trained with the Sassoon Academy. Fans were happy to see the star back on screen, as one took to social media to write: “So lovely to see @nadiaalmadatv on @loosewomen today. I’d forgotten how chatty and likeable she actually is! They deffo need to bring her back as a panellist in the future.” Another reminisced: “I remember the early days of Big Brother – where it’d be broadcast around the clock and you’d tune in at 3am and there’d be just a live feed of everyone sleeping.”

It sparked important conversations that we’re still having today” Alongside it, she posted the emotional video when she was announced winner by host at the time, Davina McCall. “To all the trans youth out there, know that you are loved and seen.
