Privacy NoticeAccording to the Big Brother curse, Rosie Williams is likely to be the first person to leave the house. After a series of tense games, it was revealed that Rosie, also known as Baked Potato, would be facing Dean Smith, Nathan King and Ryan Bradshaw in the public vote that will see one of them leave Big Brother on Friday (11 October). Sadly as the only woman who is vulnerable in the ITV series, the odds are stacked against Rosie. Because unfortunately, over the course of the 21 civilian series, a female housemate has been the first to be evicted a staggering 20 times.

The one and only exception to the rule has been Marco Pierre White Jr, the son of celebrity chef Marco Pierre White , who was booted out first in 2011, but he remains an anomaly. Rosie, a dental nurse from Cornwall, had to face Thomas Atkinson in a game of dares. To prove how competitive they were, the pair faced tasks that escalated in difficulty. Rosie accepted almost all of the dares, from being called Baked Potato for the remainder of her time in the Big Big Brother house to having her food blended. But Rosie couldn’t go through with the last dare – she would have to tell all future people she wanted to evict her decision to their face rather than in private. Meanwhile, Thomas, who wore a bucket on his head, shaved off one of his eyebrows, and shredded personal photos of the other contestants, emerged from the challenge victorious.

One viewer asked: “Am I watching Big Brother 2023 fast food task, I’m a celeb or something else?” Another said: “This dare is giving I’m a celeb drinking trial” It seems this sentiment was shared by many, with another fan commenting: “When did big brother turn into I’m a celeb?” The pattern of seeing women be the very first to leave the series goes back to the very first where Sada Walkington was evicted. In series two Penny Ellis was the first to leave, followed by Lynne Moncrieff in series three. In the latest series, rebooted by ITV, Farida Khalifa was forced to leave. This year, viewers are voting to evict, rather than to save, with the first live eviction taking place on Friday (11 October).Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
