Privacy Notice It’s time for the first eviction of the new series of Big Brother, as Dean, Nathan, Ryan and Rosie, who is also known as Baked Potato thanks to a dare on the show, found themselves on the shortlist to go home after an eventful week in the house. It turned out that Ryan was the first person to be sent packing. In his exit interview, he revealed: “Gutted to be out but someone has got to do it.” When hosts Will Best and AJ Odudu asked why he thinks he was evicted, he said: “I didn’t give it my all for the first task and then I couldn’t give my hand up for 2 hours.” On entering the house, Ryan, 28, who is a ‘working-class Northern lad’ says he’s “strong and opinionated” as he won’t stand for “woke” behaviour. “I’ve always been a fan of the show – it’s been a bit of a childhood dream to go on it. “I feel like over the recent years, it’s gone a bit tame and people are in there for other motives and I think having someone normal like me in there will shake it up.” Fans had predicted earlier in the week that Baked Potato would be the first evictee, due to the supposed Big Brother curse. Over the course of the 21 civilian series, a female housemate has been the first to be evicted a staggering 20 times, and Rosie was the only woman under threat this week.

Earlier in the show, the housemates in the new Big Brother house discovered who had done well, and who had not, in the shopping task. Big Brother praised Hanah and Khaled for their time at the Coco Eye Land Resort, but there were a few disappointments, including Marcello, who stole a watermelon from the all-inclusive buffet and Sarah, who insulted guests during the aquacise class. Lily, meanwhile, was singled out for sitting on the laps of guests during brunch service. These lapses led to the housemates only receiving an economy shopping budget this week. Friday’s tasks included a ‘circuit’ in which the housemates had to figure out the connections and the opinions that linked them and then line up in the correct order to create a circuit. Later on, Sarah suggested some new entertainment, saying: “It depends on the energy of the house tonight but I think if the energy is good we should maybe propose that drag competition.” As they got ready, Emma suggested Nathan’s drag name should be Diana Demure, while Dean revealed his was Coco Damol because he is “So loud you’re going to need one” of the strong painkillers he was naming himself after.Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
