The 62-year-old DIY SOS host has been rehearsing with 34-year-old Luba for the BBC competition, but Katie’s frequent visits to the studio had allegedly made Luba uncomfortable—something that Nick has now addressed. A source claimed to The Sun that Luba had raised concerns after finding it difficult to teach Nick due to Katie’s constant “interruptions” and has expressed her frustration to others backstage. The source alleged: “Luba found the constant interruptions exasperating because she felt it was disturbing their training and routine”.

The source added: “It was starting to affect how Luba could teach, given that she felt Katie’s eyes on her when they were in close holds. Luba is a complete professional but no one can deny that it is awkward having your partner’s girlfriend in the room. Katie seems to be very clingy to Nick.” In response, Nick’s representatives told OK!: “This story is completely false. There was never any complaint made.” A Strictly spokesperson also said: “Any claims that there has been a complaint are categorically untrue. There have been no such complaints made to anyone, so these assertions are completely false.” The couple sat down with Closer before Nick took to the Strictly stage to discuss their notable age difference and the importance of finding time for one another despite chaotic timetables. With wedding bells on the horizon for Nick’s third time, he dished the details: “We try to do some amazing trips – we’ve just come back from Dubai, which was fantastic. And we like to treat ourselves with overnight stays at Home House. It’s a members’ club in London, and you don’t need to be a member to stay there. The rooms are beautiful. It’s almost like a museum because it’s so stunning,” reports the Mirror.

Katie, who is making waves as a business owner of her lingerie brand Boa Boa, told the publication that Nick is a “romantic” and loves to “cook lovely dinners”. She also revealed that they “always have a date night” and love “hotel stays and nice holidays”. The relationship between Nick Knowles and his partner Katie wasn’t always easy, especially as Katie, a mother of two, grappled with Nick’s celebrity status at the start. Chatting with The Times, Nick opened up about the challenges they faced, including the awful moment when Katie became the target of vicious online trolls: “You just get people being properly vile.
