Privacy NoticeThe BBC has finally spilled the beans on when Celebrity Masterchef will be back on our screens, and fans won’t have to wait long. The next series is set to kick off on BBC One on Tuesday 12 August at 8pm, and if that wasn’t enough, it will be followed by a second episode on Thursday and a third helping on Friday. The cooking competition will be heating up our screens for six weeks with three weekly episodes, as the celebs whip up their best dishes for judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace. The star-studded line-up was revealed back in June, featuring reality stars, TV presenters, singers and comedians all ready to don the famous Masterchef aprons. Among those stepping into the kitchen are reality star Charlotte Crosby, Love Island’s Chloe Burrows, model and TV personality Christine McGuinness and This Morning’s Craig Doyle. Also joining the culinary challenge are EastEnders’ Danielle Harold, The Traitors’ Diane Carson, makeup artist Dominic Skinner and radio presenter Edith Bowman, reports the Express.

“These celebs are a brave brunch and are taking us on a brilliant ride – all in the trusty hands of our distinguished judges, John and Gregg.” Last series had viewers on the edge of their seats as opera singer Wynne Evans, Emmerdale’s sweetheart Amy Walsh, and Love Island hunk Luca Bish battled through six weeks of intense culinary trials. In the thrilling conclusion, Wynne Evans was announced as the champion, snagging the trophy and earning the right to call himself Masterchef champ.
