Arabella Chi has come to the defence of her friend Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu after a tumultuous episode on Love Island: All Stars. The drama unfolded when Curtis Pritchard, Ekin-Su’s partner, showed an interest in fellow islander Danielle Sellers, causing quite the stir. Despite their seemingly strong connection, Curtis and Ekin-Su faced turmoil as Curtis pursued Danielle, despite previously committing to Ekin-Su, leaving her upset. Now that the couple seems to have resolved their issues, Arabella, a former islander herself, empathises with Ekin-Su’s reaction. Speaking exclusively in a new interview, she explained, “I was in the villa with Curtis [Pritchard] during my first series and I do think he’s being genuine because he did say at the beginning he was worried he’d rushed into things with Ekin-Su and sometimes you do need a test in there.

“But he shouldn’t have said he was closed off and then not been closed off because that’s just going to hurt the other person. He went about it the wrong way. Ekin-Su handled that situation really well though. I would have reacted a lot worse! “. Love Island star Arabella Chi has confessed her obsession with this year’s All Stars series, and is rooting for her close friend Elma Pazar to win with her partner Sammy Root. She said: “I’m good friends with Elma so I was really happy when Sammy came in for Elma – it’s exactly what she needed. She put a lot into Ronnie [Vint] but I actually think Sammy is a better match for her, so it’s all worked out really well. I’d love to see them win. We’ll definitely be going for a catch-up when she gets home.” Despite only appearing on the show 12 months ago, Arabella met her partner Billy Henty shortly after and is now expecting their first child. “If you’d told me this time last year I’d be expecting a baby with the love of my life, I wouldn’t have believed it at all,” she admitted. Looking forward to welcoming their baby daughter this May, Arabella is working with jewellery brand Say It With on their new Mother’s Day collection.

“I know I’m not a mum yet, so it’s not a proper Mother’s Day this year, but I still feel like I’m a mum even though she’s not born yet. Because she’s growing in me and I can feel her, I definitely feel like a mum already”. The Say It With collection features a range of stunning jewellery, including a necklace which reads ‘Mummy’, which is a personal favourite of Arabella’s. “Everyone knows that I am a full-on jewellery girl and I wear jewellery all the time. Even now, I’m having a chill day and I still have full earrings in. My favourite piece is the ‘Mummy’ necklace because I’ve always called my mum ‘Mummy’ and it’s something I’d wear myself or give to her – it can go between generations. I’d love for my little girl to call me Mummy too.” Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.
