Privacy NoticeThe Apprentice star Jack Davies has tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Ellie in a ceremony attended by his fellow BBC contestants. Recruitment director Jack, 29, took part in the BBC competition last year but was fired in the fourth task alongside pharmacist Amina Khan. The series was eventually won by boutique fitness studio owner Rachel Woolford. Jack and Ellie’s wedding was attended by his fellow The Apprentice co-stars Paul Midha, Phil Turner and Virdi Mazaria, who detailed the big day on social media. Pie salesman Phil – who came in second place – shared a photo of himself with Jack before the ceremony, writing: “Pre match nerves.”

He then posted a photograph of the bride and groom, writing: “I do.” Jack was fired from The Apprentice in a brutal double elimination during which Lord Sugar made show history by stopping the winning team’s taxis from heading back to the house and calling them back to the boardroom. When the candidates left the boardroom, Karen Brady told Lord Sugar: “I’ve got to tell you Alan, they all made mistakes. “They’re all culpable. They should all be back in here.” Lord Sugar then told reception to “stop those other candidates going back to the house” because he wanted everybody back in the boardroom. He then told Jack and Amina: “Jack, you were ultimately responsible for the strategy, and the strategy failed.

“But Amina, you were in charge of the sub-team’s lack of strategy and that cost the whole team big. And so, it is with regret Amina, you’re fired. And Jack, I’m sorry to say, you’re also fired.” Jack’s isn’t the first Apprentice wedding to take place this year, with Akshay Thakrar and Harpreet Kaur tying the knot back in June. The couple met on the 2022 series of the BBC show and began dating shortly after. They married in a three-day wedding extravaganza, with Akshay telling OK!: “The only way I can describe our wedding is that it felt like a movie, it was amazing. “Harps is Punjabi and I’m a Gujarati Hindu, so we wanted to merge traditions from each. Our families loved that and we really enjoyed seeing each other’s culture.” Their co-stars from The Apprentice also turned up to celebrate, with Akshay saying: “There was a moment when I looked around the room and I said to Harpreet, ‘Do you realise everyone in this room means something to us?’ They had all come for us and to celebrate us. It was amazing.” The Apprentice is available to stream on BBC iPlayer. Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
