Antler’s cabin case is perfect for frequent travellers and long weekend trips (Image: Grace Salmon) With many airlines now only offering a small handbag or backpack option instead of a free cabin bag, it can be a real challenge to travel on a budget with all your essentials. This is especially true if you’re like me and love having enough outfit changes for every possible occasion. Luckily, Antler’s new Underseat Cabin bag, available for £130 here, is here to save the day. This compact case has been cleverly designed to fit snugly under your plane seat, making it the perfect companion for frequent flyers, long weekend trips or overnight stays. The case measures 35 x 45 x 20 cm, meeting the requirements of airlines such as British Airways, EasyJet and Virgin Atlantic. I recently jetted off to Spain for five days and packed everything I needed into this case without any hassle. Granted, I wore my bulkiest shoes to the airport and packed quite lightly as this trip was mainly about soaking up the sun. However, I still managed to fit in two outfit changes per day, along with swimwear, underwear, makeup and hair straighteners. The case boasts a double-layered pocket, providing instant access to electronics and essential documents like boarding passes or passports – an absolute godsend when navigating airport security. The soft exterior, as opposed to a hard shell, is a plus when using a smaller case as I find you can cram more into it.READ MORE:Prime Finds: Top 5 Amazon home gadgets for comfort and convenience this autumn READ MORE: ‘Visitors to my house are impressed with them’ – stylish side table that look luxe get major £160 discount

The case’s lightweight design is a definite bonus, as it fits under your seat but can also be stowed in the overhead locker for extra legroom. There’s nothing worse than struggling to lift your case onto the overhead compartment, causing a delay or needing assistance from a flight attendant. Despite its compact size, this case can fit a surprising amount of clothing. As someone who tends to over-pack, this case has helped me streamline my packing habits. I went on a three-week trip to Australia last year where I lugged an 8kg overweight suitcase, only to wear just over half of what I packed. This year, I’ve been more disciplined with my packing, planning outfits ahead of time, and Antler’s case has certainly aided in this process by enforcing a limit on how much I can bring. While it may seem a bit pricey given its size, when it comes to luggage, investing in high-quality, durable pieces that will stand the test of time is worth it. And I believe this Antler case fits the bill. If you’re after a more budget-friendly option, Tripp’s hardshell underseat cabin case is available to buy for £52.50. This bag’s dimensions are also compatible with EasyJet and British Airways planes. Regrettably, Ryanair’s luggage allowance is a tad smaller than some other airlines. So, if you’re shopping for a cabin bag to meet their free hand luggage requirements, a backpack like this one from Amazon, priced at £25.99, would likely be your best bet.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
