Privacy NoticeA Place in the Sun’s hunt for a dream home went haywire when Jee Juggurnauth saw a couple walk out of a house viewing prematurely without seeing all of it. An episode saw Sarah and Justin on a search for an idyllic property in Greece’s Peloponnese peninsula, but they weren’t impressed with the first option. Straightaway, Sarah brushed it off as “too modern”, while something about the building had Justin worried. As he pointed out the sagging ceiling, he confessed: “The bow in the ceiling would give me a few palpitations.” Sarah joined in his concern: “It’s a bit of a worry. I think it’s a really odd layout the screen/wall I’m not feeling that.” Hoping to shed some positive light, Lee asked, “What about the open plan living/kitchen area? I know you said you wanted all of your family to come together… can you picture yourself cooking, having a glass of wine with the family?”, reports the Mirror.

However, Sarah replied: “I don’t think the space itself would work. It’s too small for the extended family.” The game was up when they reached the first bedroom. Even though Sarah conceded it was “spacious”, she noted: “It’s not really a room though. Because it’s not got a door. There’s a big space there.” Lee tried justifying it by saying, “It’s a very modern twist to a bedroom.” But Justin wasn’t buying it, expressing, “The separation just doesn’t feel right for us. If we’d had a massive barny, then yeah. They don’t last longer than a month and then we start talking to each other.”

Picking up on the tension, Lee enquired, “Would you like to have a look at the rest of the property? ” only for Sarah to interject with a firm “No, not at all.” Lee sensed the disconnect and remarked, “This really isn’t working for you, is it? ” leading to the couple cutting the viewing short and leaving, as Sarah confessed that both the “outside and the inside” didn’t appeal to her. The house hunt continued to disappoint, with Sarah criticising another home’s “dated” kitchen, while Justin was charmed by the scenic view from a different Greek abode. The strain in their relationship became increasingly apparent, with Sarah declaring she would claim the upstairs bedroom during disputes, relegating Justin to “downstairs in the garage again”.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
