The TV personality has since joined the This Morning team, presenting competition segments and more. David, 31, is known for his bubbly personality and short shorts, but fans have been left stunned after learning he has a twin brother who is very different to him. David’s twin Matthew Potts has pursued a career in sport and works as a physio therapist for Huddersfield Town football club. While the brothers are very different, they still support one another and Matthew previously spoke out about his famous twin while David was in the Celebrity Big Brother house earlier this year.

Due to their different interests, Matthew joked that people often don’t believe that David is his brother. He told Mail Online: “It’s a thing for people when they find out who he is… I don’t go around shouting about it but when people do find out they are quite shocked and I always have to provide evidence we’re related because they don’t believe me, which is quite funny.” Matthew also joked about his twin brother’s unique sense of style. He quipped: “He looks incredible! He’s got the best pair of legs I’ve ever seen on a man. I didn’t get them myself… I got a half decent hair line and that’s about it.” Matthew admitted he isn’t a fake tan fan himself, but doesn’t mind a “sun bed every now and then”.

David previously chatted to OK! about his brother, following his CBB win. He explained how he and Matthew were dressed the same as children – but that is definitely not the case now. He told us: “Matthew and I grew up wearing the same clothes until we were six. I can’t really imagine him now, walking around with his legs out and a hot pink blazer. No, we’re polar opposites. We’re non-identical, so we don’t even look alike. We don’t sound like each other. He and my older brother are similar – he’s more quiet, very chilled. I’m the different one, which I enjoy.” Speaking about his childhood, he also added: “Yes, I had such a good upbringing. My mum, my dad and my brothers have supported me in everything.
