The 56-year-old underwent a brow lift along with a CO2 laser and blue chemical peel procedure, and took to social media to update fans about her post-op status in detail. On Sunday, she took to Instagram to share a video update chronicling the swelling to her face, as well as her peeling skin, saying: “I don’t know how it can get any worse…. I feel like my skin feels like it’s going to burst. You can see it’s getting oozy. I can barely open my eyes.” She explained, getting real about her surgery as she showed her skin: “This is supposed to be the worst of it, when it comes to swelling. The swelling is from the CO2 laser… you can see, it’s all the way down my chest. You can imagine what it feels like!”

She added: “My throat hurts a bit from the tube down my throat… the crusty [skin] is from the CO2 laser. Hoping to turn a corner tomorrow. Doctor Mowlds promised me that this will turn a corner after this, so I’m excited about that. But overall, looking like it’s supposed to look: nice and crispy,” she signed off on the update. She captioned the bare-all video with: “Progress isn’t always pretty, but it’s happening.”

It’s a shocking look for the usually glamorous star – and her followers were quick to point out, with one commenting “Is this on purpose?” while fellow Bravo TV star, Madison LeCroy from Southern Charm, commented: “You’re going to look 16!” Just last week, Tamra caused a stir when was seen sensationally pushed in a swimming pool during last week’s most recent episode of Real Housewives of Orange County by co-star Teddi Mellencamp, 43 – though some eagle-eyed viewers pointed out it could’ve been staged, with one fan on X writing: “Hot take. I think Tamra & Teddi planned the push in the pool. Just sayin…. #RHOC #BravoTV”.
