Privacy NoticeLove Islander Georgia Harrison and TOWIE’s Pete Wicks are set to join the cast of the new series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. The duo will be partaking in the sixth series of the Channel 4 reality show, which involves celebrities undergoing SAS winter warfare training in New Zealand’s southern islands. Unlike other shows, contestants aren’t eliminated but are either culled by the directing staff or choose to withdraw themselves, with those who stick it out until the end being declared winners. Joining Georgia and Pete is Torchwood star John Barrowman, and Boris Johnson’s Celebrity Big Brother sister Rachel Johnson.

The all-star cast of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins revealed

Pete previously competed on the 2022 edition of the show. Interestingly, Pete will be appearing on the show simultaneously with his stint on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. Pete had to withdraw during his first appearance on the show after breaking his ribs in the second episode of series four, which was filmed in Jordan. Speaking about his return to the show, Pete said: “After being medically withdrawn in Jordan, I felt like I hadn’t given it my best, and that bothered me. So when I got an opportunity to go back, I jumped in, and I would do it again.” Georgia who rose to fame on Love Island in 2017 and returned for the All-Star cast earlier this year said: “It completely lived up to my expectation. It was like something off a movie…it was just brilliant…and as much as there were times that I had to overcome the challenges I had to overcome, I wouldn’t change it for the world.” Another reality TV star joining the show is Geordie Shore’s Marnie Simpson opened up on the experience and said: “I definitely didn’t comprehend how tough it would be…it was very raw and very real!”

TV sensation Bianca Gascoigne, ex-England rugby skipper Chris Robshaw, presenter Cherry Healey, boxing pro Anthony Ogogo, comedian Shazia Mirza, and The Only Way is Essex favourite Bobby Norris are all set to brave the brutal training. Gymnastic powerhouse Ellie Downie, funnyman Tez Ilyas, basketball ace Ovie Soko, and champion boxer Lani Daniels will be jining them in the star-studded line-up too. Chief instructor Billy Billingham is back with his trusty team, including Jason ‘Foxy’ Fox, Rudy Reyes, and Chris Oliver, alongside new addition, former Special Forces psychologist Dr Alia Bojilova. Facing chilling conditions and gruelling training drills, the celebs are in for a tough ride on the show.

The instructors don’t go easy on the celebrities during the intense training

Billy has been quoted about the upcoming season: “As our course progresses, the standards expected will never faulter. From the very first second, the recruits will be expected to give 100%. Anyone not doing so will be gone before they have time to make their excuses. Our time is invaluable we will not waste it on anyone not worthy.” Watch Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins from Sunday 22 September, 9pm, Channel 4Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
