The split hit headlines in May, and Eamonn has reportedly since found love with Katie Alexander, 42, whisking her away for an end-of-summer trip. Eamonn and Katie were spotted at Barcelona port over the weekend, with Eamonn using a mobility scooter as he was joined by Katie. While Eamonn enjoyed time with Katie, Ruth was keeping her UK fans in the loop. Posting to Instagram, she began her day with a hearty cooked breakfast and later posted a picture of a luxurious hot chocolate, complete with chocolate wafers and wafer rolls, captioning it with a simple “Uh oh! ! ! ” and a bold red ‘danger’ sticker.

Katie and Eamonn are said to be headed on a cruise, with a source telling The Sun: “The cruise is just the latest proof of their closeness. Katie has been telling pals she and Eamonn are going to be for keeps – and now everyone is starting to believe her.” “Eamonn’s zest for her – the latest being this all-expenses-paid trip – has wowed Ruth and pals. He has found a new lease of life for sure. Everyone is amazed.” Eamonn and Katie first crossed paths in 2015 when a comment she made on social media sparked a conversation between them. Ruth reportedly wants to “draw a line” under her marriage with Eamonn. However, she was said to be ’embarrassed’ following incorrect reports of an engagement between Katie and Eamonn.

Despite this, Ruth reportedly found the ordeal distressing, with an insider noting ‘there has been tears’. “Ruth has been trying her best to be respectful to Eamonn for the sake of both their families and especially Jack.
