The surprising and cheeky moment was caught on live TV as nominations were being read out. It was a dazzling night for the stars in TV as the annual award ceremony kicked off on Wednesday night (11 September) with Sort Your Life Out, Strictly Come Dancing, Emmerdale, Bridgerton and I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here all scooping up a gong. David Attenborough delighted fans as he secured an NTA for his expertise in the documentary Mammals, while Coronation Street star Peter Ash won the award for Serial Drama Performance.

It was a night filled with glitz, laughter and celebration, not to mention Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks interviewing celebs on the red carpet, and host Joel Dommett’s opening number – it was certainly an evening to remember. But one moment that caught viewers’ attention at home was when Michelle Keegan’s Brassic co-star Ryan Sampson gave a cheeky flash to the camera, leaving her rather flustered. As nominations were being read out and the camera panning to the cast of Brassic, Ryan, 38, who plays free-spirited Tommo in the hit series, revealed his nipple to the nation. Unknowning what was happening behind her, Michelle who stars as fiery Erin Croft in Brassic, smiled at first before looking behind to be confronted with a close-up of her co-star’s nipple, much to her surprise.

Michelle was nominated for the Drama Performance award for her role as Maya Stern in Fool Me Once, but unfortunately missed out to Toby Jones who starred as Sir Alan Bates in Mr Bates vs the Post Office. The surprising flash on camera came shortly after Michelle opened up about her relationship with her husband Mark Wright. Speaking to Fearne Cotton on her Happy Place podcast, the actress was asked what makes her and the former TOWIE star so compatible. Michelle revealed: “I think just being best friends. She added: “We are based down south but if we travel, we go with each other and I think that really works for us.” The loved-up couple, who have been married for ten years, don’t let long distance get in the way. Michelle also shared that she spent two months without her husband in 2022 when she was out in Sydney for work, before Mark joined her for six weeks.
