The 30 year old actor, who played PC George Kiss on the Channel 4 soap from 2020 to 2021, was involved in a storyline investigating county lines drug dealing in the village. His character was stationed at Hollyoaks High to combat drug dealing on school grounds, where he met John Paul McQueen (James Sutton). Their relationship turned violent due to George’s jealousy of James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) and Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson), JP’s ex-partners. The real killer was never found, leading to John Paul’s relapse into alcoholism. Now, three years later, Callum has delighted his 526,000 Instagram followers with adorable photos announcing his proposal in South Africa.

“Took this girl on a horse ride through the Western Cape and asked if she would spend the rest of her life with me,” he posted, much to his fans’ delight. Former co-star Billy Price, who played Sid Sumner, was quick to congratulate the happy couple as he commented: “Congrats bro.” Back in July, Callum announced that his then-girlfriend Lauren was expecting their first child together, reports the Mirror. Taking to Instagram at the time, the future dad announced the joyous news as he gushed over his other half. Soap hunk Callum Kerr is buzzing with excitement as he’s set to embrace fatherhood for the first time. Sharing his joy with followers, he wrote: “Ever since I can remember, I’ve always wanted to be a dad. I can’t wait to welcome this little one into the world with my love, my angel, my partner in crime,” alongside an adorable image of him holding Lauren’s baby bump.

Callum, who is well known for his role in Hollyoaks, also melted hearts with a lovely video featuring their baby scan, showcasing just how thrilled he is about his new adventure as a dad. This happy chapter comes after he and his previous fiancee decided to part ways. Almost eight months after the split, Callum and his new beau Lauren surprised everyone with the gorgeous news that they were expecting. Back in October, Callum made a clean sweep on Instagram, deleting all photos of his previous partner, Olivia Anderson, indicating that their separation had taken its toll. Callum met Olivia, originally from Austin, Texas, around 2016 and they connected through their passion for travel, leading Olivia to relocate to Britain to join her then-beau.

They moved to Texas in 2021 with ambitions of furthering Callum’s acting prospects. At that sorrowful time, insiders confided to The Sun about the couple’s split: “Sadly things haven’t worked out between Callum and Olivia and they have called it quits. It’s been painful for both of them.” In other news, the Scottish actor has just dropped his debut single after becoming a staple in the Nashville country music scene post his soap exit.
