Speak No Evil James McAvoy is making a return to the horror scene after smashing it in films like Split and It Chapter Two. The plot revolves around an American family who get invited to spend the weekend at a picturesque country estate belonging to a charming British family they met while on holiday, reports the Mirror. But their dream getaway quickly spirals into a nightmare as the couple’s true intentions come to light. The film is directed by James Watkins and produced by Blumhouse Productions. Joining James in this psychological horror are Mackenzie Davis, Aisling Franciosi, Alix West Lefler and Dan Hough. It’s a remake of the 2022 Danish film bearing the same title. Rotten Tomatoes critics have given the film an average rating of 6.7/10, with 85% of 108 reviews being positive. Speak No Evil is showing in cinemas now.

Lee Meanwhile, Kate Winslet is set to captivate audiences once again in her latest film, Lee. The Oscar-winning actress portrays the eponymous Lee Miller, a model turned World War 2 photographer for Vogue magazine. Directed by Ellen Kuras, known for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind which also starred Kate alongside Jim Carrey, Lee had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and is now showing in cinemas courtesy of Sky Cinema. The film also features Marion Cotillard, Andrea Riseborough, Andy Samberg, Noemie Merlant and Josh O’Connor.
